Severe storm warning for parts of KZN

The South African Weather Services has issued a weather warning for residents in south-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal as well as some areas in the uThukela District to prepare for possible severe storms.
"uThukela, Umgungundlovu and the Harry Gwala District municipalities are expecting a 60% chance of showers and thundershowers. There's a possibility that those storms might result in damaging winds, hail and heavy downpours," forecaster Ayanda Nsele said.
She says poor weather conditions could also spread to our coastal regions.
"There is a possibility - when these storms start developing, they will be over the South Western parts. They may move in a North Easterly direction towards Umzinyathi and Zululand or move towards the [East Coast].

Nsele says people are being urged to stay indoors and be safe in those conditions.
