That's according to teachers' union Sadtu in KZN who've been commenting once again on the interim report which was leaked last year.

The union's Nomarashiya Caluza has questioned its credibility based on the way the investigation was conducted and what they're calling its haphazard finalization.

Caluza says the National Executive Committee wrote to Chairperson of the task team John Volmink seeking clarity on several issues raised in the leaked report, but have received no feedback other than acknowledgement of receipt.

Caluza says 38 of the 81 cases investigated by the task team required further investigation.

"The majority of the cases in fact in KZN had less than eight cases that were investigated and only two cases from KZN where the MTT recommended further investigation. That is how KZN is affected," she said.

The final report is due to be made public on April 15.
