Report missing storm-hit families, urge rescuers

Search and rescue teams are pleading with family members of tornado victims to open missing person cases if their loved ones are lost.
On Monday, a Wedge tornado ploughed into Tongaat, Seatides and Magwaveni amongst others.
At least eleven people were killed during severe storms that hit KZN, with seven deaths recorded in Tongaat.

Dawn Gounden, who's from Renegade, Search and Rescue, stresses the importance of opening a missing person case.
"This is so important that it is documented so that search and rescue members are well aware of the number of people that are missing in the vicinity of Tongaat."
Meanwhile, Durbanite Shaida Adam says her relatives at La Mercy have been living in their car since their home collapsed. She says the damage has been unbelievable, adding that homes flattened are now also being looted. Listen below to her account.
