Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa says there is a misunderstanding about who will benefit from Radical Economic Transformation.

Ramaphosa made the remarks at Sadtu's gala dinner in Durban last night following the teacher union's provincial conference.
Ramaphosa explained exactly how radical economic transformation would work in South Africa.
"It also includes making sure that our communities and the working people in our economy benefit from the process of radical economic transformation," he said.
Meanwhile, the national General-Secretary of SADTU says the future of education in South Africa remains a critical point of discussion.
He says as teachers, they also want to meaningfully contribute to transformation in the country.
"We met to discuss what we can do in the 21st century and what type of teacher we want in the 21st century. We agree that we need a teacher who will be a global citizen and a curriculum that will liberate our people from poverty, ignorance, unemployment and inequality," he said.
