Ports Regulator of South Africa announces tariff increases

The ports regulator says it is critical to create an environment attractive to logistical businesses, while also considering the monetary impact of port services on the average citizen.
The Ports Regulator of South Africa announced the latest port tariff adjustments in Durban today.
The National Ports Authority had applied for an overall tariff hike of 8.45% for 2018/2019 but was only allowed a 2.5% adjustment by the regulator.
