Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The families of most of the children killed in the head-on collision between a truck and a bakkie along the N2 in Pongola northern KZN last week, have pleaded with government to continue offering them counselling.
A sombre and painful mood prevailed at the Waterbus Sport Field where a mass funeral for 14 of the 20 victims was held on Sunday.
The 14 laid to rest on Sunday included 13 school children and the driver of the bakkie transporting them.
Twenty people died after a truck crashed into the bakkie they were travelling in.
