Plans to ensure medicine, petrol and food supply in KZN
Updated | By Nomfundo Ngcobo
KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala says the provincial government is working on a plan to make sure that KwaZulu-Natal doesn't run out of these essential items.
Days of widespread violence and rampant looting of shops and other businesses have affected KZN's supply chain.
"Food supply is going to be a problem, not only around Midlands but throughout KwaZulu-Natal, especially in eThekwini.

"Three things are going to be a problem, which must be attended. We will present a plan on how those are secured."
Zikalala's called for unity says he's heard about areas and stores that apparently aren't allowing access to some people.
"Nobody must be denied entry to an area where they reside. There is no area that is designated for whites or Africans. We all are South Africans."
