Pedestrian killed by run-away truck on the Bluff

A man has been killed after he was knocked down by a truck on the Bluff, south of Durban.

It's alleged that the driver lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into a pedestrian on the sidewalk on Bluff Road.
ALS Paramedics' Garrith Jamieson says the truck then came to a rest against a wall.

"It is alleged that a person who was getting out of a vehicle got struck by a run-away truck in reverse going towards Edwin Swales.
"A male believed to be in his thirties sustained major injuries and unfortunately, there was nothing more paramedics could do for him and he was declared deceased at the scene."
