Oscar to appeal murder conviction
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
Oscar Pistorius plans to head to the Constitutional Court to appeal his murder conviction.
This after the Supreme Court last week overturned his culpable homicide conviction to that of murder for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp two years ago.
He is appearing in the Pretoria High Court today for a bail hearing.

Defense Advocate Barry Roux requested that bail be granted pending the appeal at the Constitutional Court.
''If that application is successful, we appeal to the Constitutional Court, and if unsuccessful, then the matter must come back to the trial court for a consideration of the imposition of sentence on the present conviction,'' he said.
