Newcastle municipality and Eskom to face off in court
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Newcastle Local Municipality and Eskom are set to face-off in court on Thursday, over a debt of more than R200 million.

The northern KZN town applied for an urgent court interdict, to try to stop Eskom from implementing scheduled power cuts there.
The six-hour-long interruptions were supposed to start earlier this week. Mooi-Mpofana, Ulundi, AbaQulusi and eDumbe also owe Eskom money.
