Mpumalanga miners trapped for almost a week
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Family members of the three workers trapped at Lily Mine in Mpumalanga remain hopeful while realistic, considering the time spent underground.....

It's been almost one week since the container they'd been working on caved-in.
Initially, only close family members - two per family - were permitted to go and sit further down inside the mine property.
What has happened since Monday, more and more family members are allowed in. There are beds, food being sponsored and water being sponsored. There are regular prayer services. Families are coming in and out sporadically.
Rescue workers have been working 24-hour shifts carefully digging to try and reach the workers who Lily Mine's Mike Begg says have now run out of food and water.
