Motorists set for lower festive prices in the festive season

There's some light at the end of the tunnel for consumers.

The Automobile Association says fuel prices across the board are expected to drop significantly again as we head into the festive season.
Based on unaudited mid-month data from the Central Energy Fund, petrol could be R1.05 cheaper and diesel is expected to go down by R2.10 a litre.
Illuminating paraffin could by R1.75 a litre.

The AA's Layton Beard says international oil prices have eased since the beginning of the month.
"The stronger value of the rand against the US dollar is also playing its part and is combining with the most stable oil prices to insure South Africans can look forward to lower fuel prices in December."
