The University of Zululand has until September to complete a probe into allegations of corruption at the institution.
Higher Education Minister, Naledi Pandor says she is very concerned after receiving information about the alleged goings-on at the varsity.
The Minister wants a detailed report on the outcome of the independent investigation as well as what action is going to be taken against anyone who might be found guilty of wrongdoing.
Department spokesperson, Lunga Ngqengelele says they also want names of those believed to have been involved.
One of the claims linked the appointment of Vice Chancellor, Xoliswa Mtose to fraud.
