Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
Police Minister, Fikile Mbalula's postponed his planned meeting with the Manguzi community in northern KZN.
He had promised to head back to the area, where residents took to the streets recently demanding an end to criminal activity there.
They say the number of cross-border crimes has increased. Manguzi is located close to the SA-Mozambican border.
Mbalula visited the area two weeks ago. His spokesperson, Vusi Mhaga explains why they have to postpone today's meeting.
"Due to the development in our country where there will be a State of the Nation Address by the new president - it is expected that all MPs must be in Parliament. He has promised that a date in the near future will be allocated," he says.
