Man killed by train in Dassenhoek

KZN Emergency Medical Services' Robert McKenzie says they responded to the scene yesterday afternoon and found that the man had already died.
McKenzie says the exact circumstances around the incident are unknown at this stage.
"Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services responded to an accident in Dassenhoek, near Marianhill, in Durban involving an incident involving a man in his thirties", he said.
"He had been hit by a train. The exact circumstances around the accident are unknown at this stage but police will investigate", McKenzie said.
Meanwhile, another man has died after he was hit by a vehicle along the N2 near the Isipingo off ramp south of Durban yesterday.
Reports from the scene indicate that the man tried to run across the highway when he he was struck by a car travelling towards Durban.
