Man in Umbumbulu court for diesel theft

A man will appear in the Umbumbulu Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for allegedly selling stolen diesel.
He was arrested on Tuesday after police were tipped off about an individual selling fuel in the south coast area.
Officers searched his home and found 25-litre containers filled with diesel.
They later discovered the fuel was stolen from trucks.
The 43-year-old suspect will face a charge of possession of stolen property.

In a separate case earlier this week - two men were arrested on the N3 after they were found with 6 000 litres of diesel.
They failed to produced proof of purchase.
The duo appeared in the Ladysmith's Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
