Man hit by car, killed on Umhlanga bridge
A man has died after he was hit by a car on the Millenium bridge in Umhlanga this afternoon.
Crisis Medical's Kyle van Reenan says it appears the 33-year-old man was trying to cross the road when the vehicle struck him.
''The driver of the light motor vehicle, a female, sustained minor to moderate injuries and was treated on the scene before being taken to a hospital for further assessment.

''Exact facts are unknown at this stage and the local authorities will be investigating further,'' he said.
In another incident in KwaMashu earlier today a teenager drowned in a public swimming pool.
