Man dies in Mossel Bay light aircraft crash

A man has been killed after his light aircraft crashed at a game reserve near Mossel Bay in the Western Cape.
The plane's wreckage was found in bushes in the reserve in the Herbersdale area.

ER24's Russel Meiring says a trail of debris had been left from where the plane crashed into the ground and had slid for some distance.
"The body of the pilot - a man - unfortunately we do not know his age - was found some distance away from the aircraft.
"Unfortunately, the pilot had already succumbed to his multiple fatal injuries and was declared dead on scene," he said.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
