Zille is just like Zuma: Malema
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
EFF leader Julius Malema has compared former DA leader Helen Zille to President Jacob Zuma, saying she is willing to sacrifice her party for personal gain.

He was speaking at a press conference in Johannesburg, where he announced that the EFF will lay criminal charges against Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba over his alleged involvement in state capture.
Zille has been suspended from the DA for tweets she sent out earlier this year defending certain elements of colonialism.
Zille has since lashed out at party leader Mmusi Maimane, saying she was only removed because she is white.

But Malema says Zille's actions is compromising her party.
"To allow her party, which she formed and said she loves so much to deteriorate in her name, then she is not different from Jacob Zuma. She is compromising the 2019 project of removing the ANC," says Malema.
"We are not going to vote with a party that loves individuals more than South Africans."
Zille's disciplinary hearing is set to take place on Friday.
