Magudumana, two co-accused to remain behind bars
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Dr Nandipha Magudumana and two other co-accused in the Thabo Bester matter will remain behind bars.
She, along with three others, including her father, are facing charges relating to Bester's escape from a Free State maximum security prison nearly a year ago.
They all made their second appearance in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Appearing as accused number four, Magudumana was initially seated next to her father in the dock.
Zolile Sekeleni, who is accused number two, was seen comforting his daughter, patting her on the back.
When proceedings got underway, they had to sit apart.
The State then requested that Magudumana reveal her face, which she'd again covered with a hoodie and a mask.

The Defence objected, saying it was not necessary as the matter had not entered trial stage yet.
Eventually, Dr Magudamana showed her face after the State insisted it was necessary in order to ensure the correct person was in court.
The court also heard that accused three, the CCTV technician who allegedly switched off the prison's security system when Bester escaped, is facing stock theft charges dating back to 2002.
Magudumana's father was granted bail of R10 000 and is expected to return to court in month.
His daughter and the other two accused will remain in custody until early next month when they're expected to apply for bail.
It'll be around the anniversary of Bester's escape.
