Magudumana lays assault charge against Kroonstad prison
Dr Nandipha Magudumana has opened a case of common assault against the Kroonstad correctional facility where she's being held.
The prison commissioner in the Free State has confirmed that Magudumana laid the charge on Wednesday.
It's not yet clear who she's accusing of assault.
On Wednesday, she wasn't in the dock in Bloemfontein to join her co-accused in the Thabo Bester prison escape case because she apparently fainted in the holding cells.

Meanwhile, Magadumana and Bester have threatened to approach the courts to block the publishing of a new book about them.
NB Publishers, GroundUp News and other booksellers are said to be behind it.
It will apparently detail the events around Bester's escape last year from the Mangaung Maximum Security Prison.
Bester and Magadumana were arrested in Tanzania in April, a few weeks after a shopper in Sandton blew the convicted murderer and rapist’s cover.
