Ladysmith protests: SANTACO calls for urgent solutions
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
A national council representing minibus taxis says those behind the Ladysmith shutdown should take their grievances off the streets and to the discussion table.

Members of the taxi community have been taking part in demonstrations this week, that resulted in the closure of roads leading to the KZN town. Many homes were left without water as well.
Umgeni Water staff couldn't get to the Ezakheni Plant. Protesters want the mayor to go. SANTACO's Bonga Zondi says it's time for concerned parties to talk:
"The leadership of the ANC needs to bring the association and the mayor together and try and find a solution."

Zondi said if the taxi industry is saying the mayor is not helping them with certain thing involving conflict, they need to hear it from the taxi operators and the leadership of the association.
"They need to try and find a solution between the two that are not seeing eye to eye," he said.
