Inanda potential voters want their voices heard
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Officials at Ohlange Secondary School where former President Nelson Mandela cast his first vote in 1994, say voter registration has gotten off to an excellent start this morning with the first group registering to vote already present by 8am.
At the same time, voter registration was in full swing at the KwaMashu hostel.
Some party members clad in their political party t-shirts had set up a table outside the Ohlange voting centre while IEC officials hadn't arrived.
Officials arrived just before the opening of the gates and setting up for the final day of voter registration across the country.

Not far from this centre on Thursday a crèche going toddler died after being hit by a taxi and residents say they have been calling for speed humps on the entire stretch of the main road instead of just a portion of it.
Residents say this part of the reason they want to vote so that their voices can be heard.
Meanwhile, residents at the KwaMashu hostel say there has been plenty development in the area and voting will ensure a better future for their children and community.
