The provincial figures are scheduled to be announced at 4 p.m and the national ballot at 6 p.m.

With 99.2% of the results captured from voting districts in KZN, the MK party is leading with 45%, followed by the IFP with 18% and ANC at 16.9%.

At the IEC's results centre in Durban, the Patriotic Alliance's Desmond Cele says there is concern among political parties about whether the results will be ready tomorrow.

This after some raised vote rigging concerns.

The EFF in the Western Cape accused the IEC of ballot tampering.

The MK party has also called for investigations claiming the polls were not free and fair.

Cele says many parties want a recount.

"I guess for now we just have to wait and see. What is the IEC going to do about it, will there be a recount in the Western Cape, and will there be a recount in various provinces?"
