I was shot in the face: SABC 8 journalist
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
"There were two metal objects in my cheek. The doctors said I was shot and not hit."

Senior Editor at RSG, Suna Venter, told JacarandaFM News she was shot in the face with a pellet gun shortly after leaving a restaurant in Linden two weeks ago.
Venter is one of the so-called SABC 8 group of reporters, who were fired from the public broadcaster after they question the new editorial policy to now show violent images of protests.
"I am committed to the SABC. I am committed to healing the SABC in any way that I can from the position I sit in and I will continue to do that no matter what anybody does to me," says Venter.
Venter says police are investigating the incident and adding it to the broader investigation of intimidation and attacks on the eight SABC journalists.
"If you are asking me if it makes me or any of the SABC 8 feel that we are not going to push ahead with our demands, then it's an absolute no," says Venter.
Parliament's Ad Hoc Committee on the SABC Board has decided to ask Acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane to update them on the investigation.
