Govt eyes 70% vaccination target by December
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Government is still hoping to reach its Covid-19 vaccine target of 70% by December.

In order to achieve this, Health Minister Joe Phaahla says they would need to have vaccinated 27 million people.
Phaahla was speaking on Sunday in Umlazi's V-section, where he encouraged locals to get the jab under the newly-launched Vooma Vaccination Campaign.
He said they've been educating communities as well to dispel any myths and misconceptions about the coronavirus shot.
"The number of people who have already got at least one jab is just under 13 million. So we need to reach by December either end of December, possibly middle, we need to reach another 14 million people.
"If we do that amongst the adult population, we'll have covered the 70%."
