Five killed in Colenso truck crash

The KZN Transport Department says preliminary investigations into a fatal truck crash in Colenso points to possible brake failure.
Five people were killed when a bakkie and a tipper truck collided near Pieters Road yesterday.
The driver of the bakkie and its passengers were declared dead at the scene.
The departments spokesperson, Sindi Msimang says they are investigating.
“The cause of this accident according to the driver of the heavy motor vehicle who is the only survivor in this particular accident, says the brakes failed on the heavy motor vehicle and he collided head on with the LDV."
