Five arrested, illegal firearms seized in KZN police operations

Five suspects linked to the possession of illegal firearms have been arrested in KZN police operations this weekend.
Two suspects aged 21 and 30 were nabbed at the Ulundi Plaza. Police recovered three firearms and 20 rock cocaine drugs.
They will face drug dealing charges in the Ulundi Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a 34-year-old suspect was found in possession of an AK47 rifle with six rounds of ammunition in Vumankala, near Nquthu.
In addition - two teenagers aged 15 and 16 were found in possession of a shotgun, and pistol with three rounds of ammunition near Muden, in the uMzinyathi District. They're due to appear in the Greytown Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
