eThekwini city manager Sipho Nzuza arrested

eThekwini city manager, Sipho Nzuza has been granted R50 000 bail following his arrest this morning.
Nzuza is the latest senior official in eThekwini to be arrested in connection with the multi-million rand Durban Solid Waste tender scandal.
Hawks spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi says he appeared briefly at the Durban Commercial Crimes Court this afternoon - on charges of fraud, money laundering and corruption.

Nzuza will be back in court in mid-April where he will join his co-accused - who include former mayor - Zandile Gumede.
Mulaudzi says more arrests are likely.
"We want to put it on record that this investigation has not yet been completed. We are still busy with investigations and there is an expectation that we will be adding more suspects on this case."
