Eskom will enforce powercuts in parts of KZN tonight

Eskom says it will enforce power cuts in parts of KZN where networks are overloaded during peak hours tonight.
It says this load reduction is in a bid to prevent network overloading caused by illegal connections, vandalised electricity infrastructure and bypassed meters.
This comes after the power utility stated yesterday that it had enough resources to suspend load shedding.

The power utility says it is battling to keep up with increased equipment failure that is costing millions to repair.
They say areas in Newcastle, Ladysmith, Pietermaritzburg, Msinga ,Umlalazi, North Coast: South Coast will be affected.
