EFF student body reiterates call for free education
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
The EFF Student Command is warning institutions of higher learning that it won't give up on its fight for free education.
President, Peter Keetse has accused government of not doing enough to assist students from poor backgrounds who can’t afford tuition costs.
He was among the speakers at the party’s fourth anniversary celebrations in Durban at the weekend.
Keetse says the EFF will push government so that students won't have to pay for an education.
"For the past two consecutive years, we have been doing the same thing over and over again. Our comrades are suspended, others are still going through courts," he says.
