Education officials visit rural schools to offer career guidance
Updated | By Benedict Ngwenya

Officials will visit three schools in the Bergville area today to roll out the 2015 Apply Now Career Guidance Campaign.
The campaign looks to encourage qualifying pupils to apply on time for further education.
The department's Khaya Nkwanyana says they want to ensure that pupils know what to study after matriculating.
"The drive towards focusing particularly [on] rural areas is indeed specifically meant to bridge that gap, in terms of information flow. [We'd like to] empower these young people in schools where ordinarily they would have never got that information in terms of the skills-set option that they should undertake once they finish school," he said.
