Dramatic boom gate hijacking caught on camera
Dramatic footage of a hijacking in Bedfordview has gone viral.
The video of the ordeal was shared on the CICA - Crime Intelligence & Community Awareness - South Africa's Facebook page.
In the video, a woman can be seen driving towards a boom gate at a residential complex when she is tailed by a group of armed men travelling in an Audi.

The woman is forced out of her vehicle by the group of gun-toting men.
Police spokesperson Andre de Jager has confirmed the hijacking.
He says: "A lady was hijacked of a vehicle by three suspects yesterday afternoon. Two shots were fired. Nobody was injured. The victim's Volkswagen Jetta was taken."
The vehicle has not yet been recovered.

De Jager says no arrests have yet been made.
