DA faults #KZNSOPA
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The DA believes the Premier's State Of Province Address lacked detail and contradicted itself.
The party's Zwakele Mncwango's been reacting to the speech delivered in Pietermaritzburg yesterday.
He says the Premier indicated that private businesses would have to play a role if power production is to be achieved - meaning he agrees that Eskom should be privatised.
But Mncwango says the Premier contradicted himself on the issue of land reform.

"He said mature farmers are willing to work with the KZN government to make sure that land reform is working. Basically, he is saying there is no need to amend the Constitution. He himself acknowledged that amending the Constitution will create a lot of chaos in the country.
"This means he agrees with the DA to say there is no need to amend the Constitution and that it's possible to sit down and engage with those who actually own means of production," Mncwango said.
