Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The KZN Education Department says a matric exam marker has died after contracting Covid-19 in Estcourt.
Nine others are now in isolation.
The Department's Muzi Mahlambi says the marker passed away after being taken to hospital on Saturday.
Those who were in contact with that person, have been moved to guesthouse, where they remain in isolation.
Mahlambi says they've asked KZN Health to assist them.

He says they have sent the health officials to the centre for screening, decontamination and testing of all educators.
"Based on their observations they will then advised us on what will happen to the centre. Whether we temporarily close the centre," says Mahlambi.
