Three children killed in KZN storms

Three
children have lost their lives after heavy storms pummelled KZN's Harry Gwala
District.
In Ward 2 of the Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Local Municipality, a 10-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were swept away while they were trying to cross a swollen river on Saturday.
Later, a girl was killed when heavy rains and strong winds led to the collapse of a house.
Cooperative Governance spokesperson Senzo Mzila says disaster management teams have been dispatched to the area to offer support to the affected families.

"The MEC has called on the residents to continue to be vigilant as the province continues to experience inclement weather conditions.
The disaster management teams continue to assess the extent of damage in some of the areas. An update will be issued by the department.
