Cele says he’ll remain part of Ramaphosa’s cabinet

Outgoing Police Minister Bheki Cele has stressed that he will remain a member of President Cyril Ramaphosa's cabinet.
He made the remarks at a briefing on the state of readiness for Ramaphosa's inauguration at the Union Buildings.

"He will appoint the ministers and delegate. After he has been sworn in he assumes the power and runs the country alone. For now, he has a Cabinet and Cele is one member of the Cabinet and the minister of police."
Cele will remain a member of cabinet for just a few more hours.
He is one of several ministers who are not returning to Parliament.
