Boy, 13, critical after being hit by car in Durban

A 13-year-old boy is recovering in hospital after being struck by a car on Inanda Road in Durban's Springfield Park area last night.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the boy had been walking along the road when a vehicle veered off the road, hit him and overturned crashing into a wall.

''The child and the driver of the vehicle had both sustained serious injuries.
''They were treated at the scene and then transported through to nearby hospitals for further care,'' he said.
Local authorities are investigating the incident.
