Attempted murder probe after drive-by shooting at Durban nightclub

Durban police are investigating a case of attempted murder after a drive-by shooting left four nightclub bouncers injured.

The shooting happened at a club on Harvey Road in Windermere on Saturday night.
KZN police spokesperson Thenjiswa Ngcobo says detectives from Durban central were called to the scene.

"On arrival, they were informed that a vehicle with no number plates was driving on Harvey Road when an occupant opened fired in front of a business premises. The injured people were rushed to hospital."
Netcare 911 responded to the shooting.
Spokesperson Shawn Herbst says the incident happened outside the nightclub.
"Reports indicate that four adult males, believed to be bouncers of the establishment, were shot in a drive-by shooting while standing at the front entrance."

Two men were seriously injured, while the other two sustained moderate injuries.
The matter is still under investigation.
