Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Armed robbers have held up a creche in Howick - leaving a man injured.
ER24's Russel Meiring says a local security company was already on the premises when paramedics arrived earlier today.
Meiring says none of the children were physically harmed. He says the injured man was hit on the head with a pistol.
"According to witnesses, three armed men had entered the building demanding valuables. The man was then assaulted by one of the suspects. The full details surrounding this incident are not yet known. Local authorities were on scene and will be investigating further."
