ANC in KZN: Cele must ensure journalist’s killers are brought to book

The ANC
in KZN has called on law enforcement to
ensure those responsible for the murder of local photojournalist Bongani Mbatha are brought to
book.

Mbatha was shot and killed in his home in Woodyglen in Hammarsdale on Tuesday evening.
Police have launched a manhunt for an unknown number of suspects.
The ANC's provincial secretary Mafika Mndebele says a case of murder is being investigated.

"As a movement, we have now called upon the Minister of Police Bheki Cele to ensure that he sends a strong team who will leave no stone unturned.
“This situation cannot go on like this. We can no longer continue as a country and allow South Africa to be a crime scene."
