Action to be taken against striking 10111 workers

SAPS management says disciplinary steps will be taken against 10111 strikers who aren't back at work.
The police service issued a nationwide call to all striking staff to return to their desks by Friday.
Call centre commanders were told to take action against those who failed to do so.
"Members are expected to return to work following the resolution that was signed between police management Popcru," he says.
About 5 000 operators belonging to the SA Policing Union downed headsets in July.

They wanted their salaries to taken up two notches - giving each person an estimated annual increase of R50 000.
The work stoppage forced the SAPS to deploy police officers to 10111 call centres.
The police's Vishnu Naidoo says warnings have been extended.
"Disciplinary action is going to be taken against them and further warnings have been extended to these members yesterday and today that should they continue with the strike action, they could face serious consequences."
