3 killed in KZN South Coast horror crash
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Three people have been killed in a crash involving two minibus taxis on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
The vehicles collided on the R61 between Ramsgate and Southbroom on Friday morning.
Robert McKenzie, who's with KZN Emergency Medical Services, says multiple people were hurt.
"Paramedics have treated at least 17 other patients at the scene - several of whom were in a critical condition."
"The exact cause of the crash is not known at this stage and it's being investigated by the police, and the road is still closed while investigations continue as to what were the circumstances that may have resulted in the crash."
