Cyril Ramaphosa will take his oath of office at Loftus Versveld Stadium - after being elected president by Parliament earlier this week.
The cost of this ceremony has been a contentious issue.
Last week - Minister in the Presidency - Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma would not be drawn on the amount it would cost - but said it would be at least R100 million less than what it cost for the last swearing-in ceremony.
Former President Jacob Zuma's inauguration in 2014 cost around R240 million. It was more than triple the amount spent on his first inauguration in 2009.

The South African Police Service says about 2500 officers - including public order police and traffic officials - will be deployed for the inauguration.
The air space is secured and drones will not be allowed within the vicinity.
"We have been preparing for the inauguration for several months now - as the NatJOINTS structure which comprises of the SAPS, the SANDF and various government departments. We are very confident that we have put all the required measures in place to ensure the smooth running of the inauguration," national police spokesperson, Vish Naidoo said.
