2018 Year in Review: Durban mother shot dead in front of toddler

A 32-year-old Wentworth mother was shot dead outside a petrol station in Tara Road in February.
Bianca Parsons was gunned down in front of her 3-year-old daughter.

Parsons had been sitting in her vehicle when she sustained a fatal gunshot wound.Her daughter was not hurt.
Two men were arrested in connection with the murder. The case against Darryl Murrison and Christopher Housten has since been moved to the Durban High Court.
It is alleged that Parsons was shot dead in a case of mistaken identity.

Murrisson told the Durban Magistrate's Court earlier in the year that he intends pleading guilty to the crime.Housten says he will plead not guilty.
