Two people have been killed in separate shootings in Durban on Monday.
The first incident happened in Umlazi.
Emer-G-Med's Kyle van Reenan says two security guards were on Monday afternoon found seated in a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
"The driver was found in a critical condition and a call was made for the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to airlift him through to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required.
“The passenger was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on arrival of paramedics. The scene was secured and handover to the South African Police Services for the further investigation that are required."

A short while later, ALS paramedics responded to another shooting at an office on Electron Road in Springfield Park.
"On arrival, paramedics were escorted by the police into an office where they found a male believed to be in his forties had sustained gunshot wounds," says spokesperson Gareth Jamieson.
"He had sustained fatal wounds and unfortunately, there was nothing more that paramedics could do for him. He was declared deceased at the scene.
"At this stage, the events leading up to the shooting are unknown. However, SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further."
