Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
The ANC Women’s League in KwaZulu-Natal says it has faith in Nomusa Dube-Ncube and her ability to tackle the issues faced by women and children in the province.

Dube-Ncube has been announced as the ANC's candidate for provincial premier to succeed the departing Sihle Zikalala.
Should she be elected by the provincial legislature, Dube-Ncube would become the province's first female premier.

"We do trust that in her leadership, the lives of women in the province of KwaZulu-Natal will improve for the better," says spokesperson for the ANCWL in KZN Fikile Masiko.
"Because we know that her heart is closer to the people of this province. We know that in terms of the work that she done before, she has worked with women cooperatives, women in business, young women and women from across all sectors as well as rural women."
