Zoleka Mandela remembered three months after her death

Zoleka Mandela's family says "not a day goes by without feeling the void" that she left in their hearts.
Zoleka Mandela's family are holding onto the "beautiful memories" they made together three months after her death.
Zoleka passed away in September at the age of 43. The two-time breast cancer survivor revealed in August last year that her cancer had spread.
She was later diagnosed with metastatic cancer to the hip, liver, lung, pelvis, brain, and spinal cord.
"It’s been three months since our beloved Zoleka Mandela left this world, and not a day goes by without feeling the void she left in our hearts. Yet, in this time, her spirit has become a beacon of strength, resilience, and love for us all," Zoleka's family wrote in a post shared on her Instagram page.
They thanked her supporters for the outpouring of love they received after her death.
"Your kind words, memories, and shared moments have been a source of comfort, reminding us of the impact she had on countless lives."

Though the pain may still linger, we find solace in cherishing the beautiful memories we shared with Zoleka.- Zoleka Mandela's family.
Zoleka's family encouraged people to keep her memory alive by spreading "love, compassion, and advocacy for the causes she held dear".
"Though the pain may still linger, we find solace in cherishing the beautiful memories we shared with Zoleka. Her legacy lives on in the stories we tell, the lessons we’ve learned, and the love we continue to share with one another. As we commemorate these three months, let us renew our commitment to keeping Zoleka’s spirit alive."

Zoleka is the granddaughter of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Nelson Mandela.
She died one day before Ma Winnie's birthday, which the anti-apartheid activist would have celebrated on Tuesday, September 26.
Zoleka's parents are the late Zindziswa Mandela and Oupa Seakamela.
