Zama Khumalo crowned 'SA Idols' winner

Congratulations are in order for Zama Khumalo, who has won 'Idols SA' season 16.
Eighteen-year-old Zama Khumalo from Emalahleni in Mpumalanga was crowned the new 'Idols SA' winner on Sunday, 13 December.
Khumalo beat Lungisani 'Mr Music' Mthethwa from Richards Bay.
Thanking South Africans for voting for her, Khumalo said: "I’m really blessed, thank you very much, South Africa".
The 'Ndizobizwa' hitmaker walked away with a new set of wheels (Toyota Starlet 1.4. XR Manual), a record deal from Kalawa Jazmee, Samsung products valued at R150,000, R100,000 worth of fashion from Truworths, a Kymco Xciting 400 scooter, R80,000 worth of musical instruments from Yamaha and R1-million in cash.

In a video posted by record label Kalawa Jazmee on Twitter, the 18-year-old expressed her excitement and said she can't believe she has won.
