Mila Kunis says she felt like 'a horrible mom' for being excited about a mini-vacation without her children during the pandemic.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres during a video interview, the actress says she was excited to work on her Super Bowl commercial with husband, Ashton Kutcher, because it meant she would get out of the house.

"I was dying to get out of the house. I was like, I don't care I need to get out of this house. I looked at it as a two-day vacation. I was like we are getting out, we are going to go shoot this thing and we're getting away from our children," she said.

The 'Breaking News in Yuba County' star added that shooting the commercial during the pandemic was a bizarre experience.

"We showed up. It's really uncomfortable because, you know,  you're not wearing a mask. You feel really vulnerable... You don't know what anyone looks like. It's like a bizarre circumstance and then I was pretty convinced I had COVID.

"Needless to say, knock on wood, it didn't happen. And I got two days off from my kids. I'm a horrible mom," she laughed.

Mila and Ashton have two children together, Wyatt, 6, and Dimitri, 4.

She joked that there is no escaping your kids during quarantine.

"I love my kids very much, we both do, but they're like dogs, they can sniff you out. They know your smell, they know what room you're hiding in,  you can't get away from them. They're just there."
